After earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Appalachian State University, Mitch began his career in hospitality, managing operations at top-tier private clubs such as Linville Ridge and Long Cove Club. He later transitioned into residential development, overseeing operations for a Nashville-based startup that provided exterior infrastructure for large-scale communities throughout the Southeast.
